This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to lead the cost control of a leading manufacturer who supply and install a unique range of structures to the education, healthcare and commercial sectors.

This family run company have a decade long legacy dominating the outdoor manufacturing industry generating an impressive turnover of 20 Million. Specialising in the design, manufacture and install canopies, shelters and outdoor seating for the education, healthcare and sports sectors this company have ambitious plans for nationwide expansion and aims to double its turnover within the next five years. To facilitate this growth, they are seeking a Quantity Surveying expert to play a pivotal role in driving the company's expansion plans.


On offer is a rare opportunity for a highly motivated Managing QS to join a rapidly expanding contractor in an autonomous role where you will demonstrate your expertise within a dynamic company.


You will be the lead cost control managing 3 to 5 projects at any given time. Liaising with Estimators you will produce a bill of quantities for projects, oversee sub-contractor packages whilst managing cashflow ensuring payments have been submitted on time. Conduct monthly and quarterly valuations. You will also have communication with site teams ensuring projects are being delivered on budget.


It is imperative that you have strong Quantity Surveying background with either a main or sub-contractor within the construction industry. You will need to have strong contractual knowledge and ideally experience working with public sector clients.

  • Competent in JEC and NEC contracts
