Manufacturing Plant Improvement Engineer

Northern Scotland, commutable from Inverness, Invergordon, Nairn

£25-30K plus benefits

Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (some flexibility required)

Are you an engineer with experience in improving a manufacturing sites performance looking to work for a one of the largest companies in their sector, offering a challenging and varied role?

This is a permanent position offering training and progression in an interesting and ever developing engineering sector.

The position would suit either a recent graduate engineer or a candidate with working experience within manufacturing.
The role will focus on the delivery of improvements to the site, particularly the maintenance and health and safety functions.

The role

  1. Full time, permanent, days based role on a large heavy manufacturing site
  2. Identify, plan and implement continuous improvements and problem solving activities on site
  3. Ongoing development of the planned preventative maintenance program
  4. Ensure the site improves safety

The Person

  1. Either a recent engineering graduate OR experience in a similar role
  2. Academic or working understanding of manufacturing
  3. Knowledge of lean, six sigma or other continuous improvement techniques
