Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer

Ascot, Berkshire

£40K plus bonus, life assurance, flexitime, pension, 25 days holiday

37.5 Hours, days

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer looking for a challenging and autonomous position working in a team to achieve a world class volume manufacturing site?

The position is with a global manufacturing leader in the materials engineering sector, and this site has grown rapidly due to investment and increased demand for its products.

The focus and purpose of this position will be to improve processes, products and production across the site, and then lead small projects to implement new products or improvements across the sites.

The role

  1. Full time permanent role within a unique manufacturing sector
  2. Develop a technical understanding of existing processes.and analyse them using mapping techniques
  3. Identifying and deliver improvement projects, reporting on project progress to senior management team.
  4. Involved in investigating customer queries and complaints including root cause analysis

To apply you should have:

  1. Degree in Mechanical or manufacturing engineering
  2. Working experience within manufacturing ideally focusing on process improvement work
  3. A strong understanding of lean manufacturing, FMEA and root cause analysis
