Brilliant role on offer for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join a growing company within an exciting and varied industry, working with a wide range of interesting clients.
Do you have experience using SolidWorks? Are you looking to manage the design process from cradle to grave, including utilising your problem solving skills?

This specific company specialise in automation and security solutions to commercial and residential clients. They are growing rapidly growing and developing an impressive portfolio, therefore they are looking to bring in an experience design engineer with a high attention to detail to strengthen their team.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of SolidWorks. Preferably, the candidate will have experience working with automation, sheet metal and metal structures. You will also have a good understanding of the manufacturing techniques, including metal fabrication. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company, working with a variety of exciting clients on bespoke, interesting projects.
The Role
- 2D & 3D Designing using SolidWorks
- Creating solutions for bespoke solutions
- Design for manufacturing, collaborating with fabrication team
- £35,000 £45,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Progression + Pension
The Person
- Good knowledge/Experience of SolidWorks
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques/fabrication processes
- Problem solving characteristics, able to design from concept to installation
