Mechanical Design Engineer (Hydraulics)

Newcastle

£40,000 - £50,000 + Project Management + Fast Progression + Training + Overtime + No Weekends + 30 Days Holiday + Benefits

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced hydraulic designer to join a reputable growing company based in Newcastle in a fast paced and exciting role.
The company offers a unique opportunity to leave your mark on a growing business whilst furthering your technical development and having autonomy over a variety of projects with blue chip companies.

This company specialises in the design and manufacturing of hydraulic equipment and offer a full service ranging from installation to technical support to a range of industries such as automotives, civil engineering pharmaceuticals and marine. They are well established and are aiming to grow by 50% in the next two years.

In this role, you will go from liaising with customers and clients to designing and modelling the equipment. This role includes a mix of hydraulic design and project management, so you wont be doing the same thing every day.

The Role:
*Designing and modelling a range of hydraulic equipment.
*Excellent opportunity for training.
*Progression to managerial roles.
*Monday to Friday shift pattern (8am-4:30pm).
The Person:
*Experienced in hydraulic design.
*Knowledge and experience using Hydrosym.
*Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferrable.
