Multi Utilities Design Engineer

Based in: London or Milton Keynes

Office based role with optional remote work twice a week after completion of probation period

£45,000-£65,000 + Annual bonus & salary review + Private health cover + Holidays package + Income protection

On offer is the chance to become a part of the electrical design team and work within a team of experienced engineers. This company work with some of the most reputable worldwide e-commerce companies and mainly design their automated warehouses. Due to the expansion of the company they now require a Multi Utilities Design Engineer to primarily focus on the design of the projects utility services.

In this role you will produce competent and compliant designs for utility services including electric, gas and water. You will need to ensure all projects are delivered in the most cost effective but to the highest standard to ensure the best possible service is provided to their clients.

The role:

  • Construct plans and clearly specify the necessary materials and resources required to complete the installation
  • Produce technically competent and compliant designs for electric, gas and water
  • Ensure all multi utility designs are compliant and cost effective to fit within company and industry standards



The person:

  • Posses a good knowledge of lighting design software such as Amtech
  • Experience in the integrated design in building utility connections
  • Competent in specification design and drawing for all utility connection types
  • Understanding of relevant and current British and industry standards
