Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Progression to Leadership


£35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Pension + Holidays + Specialist Training +Progression Opportunities

Do you have previous experience carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on rotating plant and want to progress your career further by receiving tailored support to take a step up into an Engineering Team Leader role?

This company, considered one of the UK's largest, plays a leading role in the development, operation and maintenance of Renewable Biofuel production plants. They have a number of plants spread across England, all producing Biogas on an industrial scale, and their parent company has a number of additional plants running across Europe.

In this role you will initially be responsible for visiting various processing plants across the UK to support with plant servicing & maintenance, and once settled in you will be working closely alongside UK management to establish and grow your own team of M&E Engineers for which you will take responsibility.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in both Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance for rotating equipment such as Pumps, Motors and Generators. They can come from any relevant background such as Oil & Gas, Marine Engineering, Ex-Forces, Petrochemical, Wastewater or similar. They will also be comfortable with travel to various sites and will be capable of managing a step up into leadership in the near future.

The role:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance at industrial-scale Biogas production sites
* Looking after primarily rotating equipment such as Pumps, Motors and Generators
*Occasionally responding to time-critical callouts where necessary
* Establishing and growing a team of M&E Service and Maintenance Engineers

The person:
* Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualifications, or apprenticeship-trained
* Previous experience carrying out M&E maintenance and servicing for rotating plant
* Comfortable with working in heavy industrial environments
* Happy with expensed travel around England when necessary
* Keen on progressing into leadership
