Senior Project Manager (Onshore Wind)

£70,000 - £85,000 + Project Bonus + Christmas Bonus + Annual appraisal/Review + Directorship progression

Are you experienced in Project management of Wind projects looking for long term development and the chance to progress into directorship?

Do you see yourself capable of joining at senior level to a multimillion pound private onshore wind company with rapid growth plans in both size and sectors?

My client builds, owns and operates both offshore and onshore wind turbine facilities across the UK with rapid growth and multiple envisioned sites being co-ordinated currently. As the growth of the company is rapidly increasing there is future plans to expand into other sectors of the renewable industry and for the right candidate be at the forefront on the board of directors.

My client is looking for an Onshore wind senior project manager to oversee a team as well as manage the design of new sites. Day to day tasks will include managing projects, aiding team members with any needs, liaising with planning officers as well as the relevant local council bodies.

The ideal candidate for this role will be highly experienced in onshore wind project management.

They will have some existing knowledge on design software e.g GIS or CAD and feel confident in their ability to lead a team.

The Role:

Lead a team in the development of new onshore wind farms

Work on personal projects for future sites

Liaise with planning officers and local council bodies

Reporting and analytics

The Person:

Previous experience working with Offshore/Onshore Wind turbines

Project management experience

Experience with Design software

Experience in EIA preparation and submission of planning applications
