Site Supervisor/Team Leader - Packaging Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Team Leader looking to bring your leadership and continuous improvement skills to a growing international manufacturing company?
Do you have a background in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and want to play a key role in driving operational excellence and cultural change across a modern production environment?
I am currently representing a globally operating manufacturer within the packaging industry, supplying sterile barrier packaging solutions for customers across EMEA, the USA, China and beyond. Established for almost 60 years and employing over 1,000 people globally, the company is continuing to expand, with ambitious plans to double turnover over the next 3-5 years. As part of this growth, they are looking for a Site Supervisor/Team Leader to support the team's efficient working practices and help maintain strong morale on the shop floor at their Venray facility.
In this role, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, coach and develop team members, and drive autonomous maintenance and TPM practices across the site. You will track and drive performance against OTIF and lead-time targets, support lean/OEE-driven improvement projects, and help bring cultural change within a regulated, GMP cleanroom manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have solid Team Leader experience within a manufacturing environment, along with a working knowledge of TPM. Experience within food, automotive or similar regulated industries is advantageous, as is Dutch language ability, though not essential.
You will be joining an ambitious international business offering a modern cleanroom manufacturing environment, strong internal training and gap-analysis support, and the potential to move into a more global role within the wider organisation long-term.
The Role:
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site
- Coach and lead a team within a manufacturing environment
- Support autonomous maintenance and TPM initiatives
- Track and drive performance against OTIF and lead-time targets
- Contribute to lean/OEE-driven continuous improvement
- Work within a regulated, GMP cleanroom manufacturing environment
The Candidate:
- Team Leader experience within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Fluent in English (Dutch advantageous)
- Experience within food, automotive or similar industries is advantageous
- Stable track record with realistic expectations and a can-do attitude
