Operations Officer (Logistics)

On for is a role where you can be involved with the daily management of logistics of a fast paced environment, having control over a broad range of duties.
Established for over 85 years, specialising in logistics, this company have grown nationwide, with consistent investment on creating an exceptional place to work, investing in training and development. They are known for their care and investment in their workforce, which has led to high employee satisfaction rates and low staff turnover.
In this role you will be proactively managing client orders, ensuring deliveries slots are booked accurately. You will also be controlling the locations of all tanks, ensuring they are available for use when needed. You will also be contacting internal/external service providers daily and ensure that service planning sheets are up to date. Therefore this would suit someone with strong organizational skills with excellent communication.

The Role:
- Planning and managing logistics
- Training and development provided
- Managing and securing resources
- Monitoring all orders
- Proactively advising clients service teams
- Assist with passing information to drivers
The candidate:
- Experience within an administrative/logistics coordinator role
- High standard computer literacy (Microsoft Excel)
- Confident communicator
- Commutable to Lancaster
