Power Systems Software Developer

Are you a Power Systems Engineer with hands-on TARA experience looking to become a technical expert within a niche software environment while progressing into a senior technical position?

On offer is a highly autonomous position supporting a market-leading power systems platform. You will work directly with utility and ISO clients, diagnose complex modeling and simulation issues, deliver technical training, contribute to product improvements, and gain increasing involvement in software development activities as your expertise grows.
This role would suit a Power Systems Engineer, Planning Engineer, Power System Consultant, or Application Engineer looking to combine power system expertise with software development exposure while progressing into a recognized technical specialist position.
The Role
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for utility and ISO clients using advanced power system simulation software
- Conduct power flow, contingency analysis, and model validation activities
- Deliver onboarding, training sessions, and technical demonstrations for end users
- Collaborate with the software development team on product enhancements and future functionality
The Candidate
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred)
- Hands-on experience with TARA software
- Strong understanding of power flow and contingency analysis
- Comfortable communicating technical concepts to customers and stakeholders
