Production & Planning Team Lead - Industrial Manufacturing

I am currently representing a global leader in industrial process fluids, lubricants, and coatings serving industries from aerospace and automotive to primary metals and energy. With a worldwide presence, this is a publicly traded company with a collaborative culture that champions career growth and continuous development.
They are now looking for a Production & Planning Team Lead to join their site in Uithoorn, reporting directly to the Site Supply Chain Manager.
In this role, you will lead the local planning team, developing and optimising short, mid, and long-term production plans across a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient use of production capacity, maintaining stock accuracy, and driving continuous improvement within site supply chain operations. Strong internal development is supported through a dedicated online learning platform available to all levels, alongside clear progression opportunities across supply chain and broader leadership.
The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing planning, including stock and inventory management, and ERP system familiarity. Leadership experience is beneficial but not essential. Fluency in English and conversational Dutch are required, and candidates must be commutable to Uithoorn.
The Role:
- Develop and optimise short, mid, and long-term production plans, considering capacity, product type, and lead times
- Execute stock management across raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners through clear objectives and KPI setting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Shipping, Customer Service, Sales, and Procurement
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards
The Candidate:
- Experience in manufacturing planning with inventory and stock management responsibility
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Desirable: Team leadership or continuous improvement experience
- Fluent in English with conversational Dutch
- Commutable to Uithoorn, Netherlands
