In this role you will be responsible for the timely delivery & co-ordination of reverse engineering projects which will involve a varied portfolio of complex re-engineered hydraulic and rotating equipment components.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background in the service/maintenance/installation of rotating equipment and ideally will have experience planning & managing projects within the Oil & Gas/nuclear/ Petrochem or water industries.
The Role:
·Creation of spare supply quality plans, manufacturing plans. Spare quality documentation including material certification, heat treatment specifications, inspection reports etc.
·Responsible for the sound financial performance and profitability of assigned projects
·Effectively communicate work scope requirements and issue work & quality packs to the relevant workshop, quality & engineering departments.
·Work with the tendering, contracts & re-engineering team to prepare costing and work plans for quotations, tenders & progressing work in progress to completion.
The person:
- Qualified with previous experience as a Project Engineer / Manager / machine shop supervisor or similar in an engineering environment
- Ability to manage spare manufacturing projects throughout the full project lifecycle including design, manufacturing,
- Strong financial and commercial understanding. Sound understanding of project planning/scheduling processes.
- Must be medically fit to fulfil the role with the ability to pass security checks
- Looking for training, development & progression with an industry leader
