Are you a project or business development manager with experience in the Renewables industry?

Would you like to join a growing company with a wide variety of Renewable Energy projects across Scotland, in a role that will provide you with development opportunities and the chance to be part of the Green Revolution?

This company specialises in the development, construction, ownership and operation of Renewable Energy projects, focusing primarily on Wind, Hydro and Solar technologies. Due to an increased demand for their services this organisation is looking to bring on a business development manager to help facilitate their plans for expansion across the UK.

In this role you will be responsible for project planning and delivery from the initial phases of site evaluation through to pre-construction. This will involve management of internal colleagues and consultants, as well as liaising with third parties such as planning authorities, stakeholders and land owners. All work will be underpinned by comprehensive reporting and brief writing to ensure efficient project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have business development or project management experience in the Renewables Industry. They will have strong organisational abilities and a keen attention to detail, which they will be able to translate into high quality report writing. They will also be flexible around UK-wide travel which could occur up to once a month.

The role:

  • Project management through people, contract and budget management
  • Comprehensive report writing such as briefs or EIA reports
  • Liaising with external parties such as planning authorities, stakeholders and landowners
  • Very occasional UK wide travel


The person:

  • Project management or business development experience in the Renewables Industry
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • Technical understanding of UK planning process EIA regulations
  • Knowledge of wind, solar or hydro power sectors
  • Full UK Driving License
