This role forms part of the aftersales team and involves speaking to customers to manage their orders, deliveries & returns. The key objective within the role is to work with clients to forecast the delivery of the items within their orders. This is fundamentally to assist the customer in making sure items are delivered promptly but also to assist with the internal team in forecasting stock requirement and revenue figures.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and coordination of a range of projects. By liaising with customers', project managers and the internal sales and procurement teams you will ensure that the right parts and products arrive at site when they are needed. You will need to be proactive to ensure you stay on top of any issues before they occur. This is a fast paced environment where you will be working on multiple projects / contracts at any one time.

This is the ideal role for someone from a projects or contracts, coordinator / administrator or similar background looking for a new challenge with a company who will invest in your training, development & long term progression.

THE ROLE:

  • Engaging with existing clients to understand the programme they are working to & establish yourself as the site personnel's primary point of contact to ensure the right parts and products arrive on site when required tackle any issues that may arise
  • Working with internal sales and procurement teams to forecast stock requirements and revenue figures & Coordinate parts and products to ensure they arrive on time for the projects
  • Identify possible threats to a current project & proactively respond to any issues that arise


THE PERSON:

  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Project, logistics, contracts or similar background & used to managing multiple projects / accounts at any one time
  • Good communication skills & a positive, proactive, problem solver with a 'can do' attitude
  • Passionate about providing the best possible service to a valued customer base
  • Any experience in trades, construction, building merchants or engineering environments would be beneficial
