£35,000 - £45,000 + Holiday + Pension + Bonus + Progression

Excellent role on offer for someone looking to join a well-established, multi-divisional company, with the opportunity to manage bespoke projects from cradle to grave, taking ownership of specific designs and having the freedom to liaise with clients and manufacturing staff.

On offer is the chance to continue your career development and progress within a successful company, with a degree of freedom in determining your path. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects, overseeing the design process, and liaising with well-known clients within the industry.

This company boast a multimillion pound turnover, and are comprised of 5 sectors - all within the material handling industry, specifically lifting and hydraulic machinery. You will be working with a friendly team in their fastest growing division, which supplies bespoke solutions to the nuclear industry.

In this role you will be responsible for using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to produce detailed design solutions. Managing multiple projects, you will also work to relevant engineering standards whilst liaising with clients.

Therefore the ideal candidate will have a good experience using Inventor or similar software, a solid understanding of mechanical engineering, preferably material handling/machinery, but will also have experience/interest with project management. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key member within an ambitious, successful company.

The Role

  • 2D & 3D Designing on Inventor
  • Managing projects, liaising with clients, suppliers, engineers
  • Designing machinery and material handling equipment
  • £35,000 £45,000 + Holiday + Pension + Bonus + Progression

The Person

  • Experience in Inventor/3D Software
  • HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience managing projects
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering/material handling/hydraulic systems
