This business specialise in the design, testing and manufacturing of thermo packaging solutions for customers. They are a multinational company with sites based in the US, they're goal is to grow not only their product portfolio but also their reach and impact in the US market. They are looking to add to their research and development team with the addition of a highly motivated and knowledgeable scientist who can support them with their growth.

In the role, you will be working within the research and development team, carrying out thermo testing activities using state of the art lab equipment. You will also be tasked with offering technical support, passing over you high level expertise to customers. The company are big on giving opportunities for external training to help aid your growth and feed your Continued Professional Development (CPD) plan. You will be given chances to work with autonomy and the opportunity through project work and have the chance to own your own project!

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody to upskill and work alongside a team that delivers excellent customer care and test and develop innovative products that help impact the market.

The Role:

  • Research and Development Scientist
  • Testing, researching and developing new and existing products
  • Excellent training and development opportunities to enhance your skill set and professional development
  • Some project work working autonomously, with opportunities to own your own projects

The Person:

  • Educated to degree level, Masters desired
  • Working 9am-17:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Commutable to York
