This industry leading company specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of electronic components used in HV power conversion systems. They have seen great success worldwide in recent years and are consistently developing and evolving their product range. As a result, they now wish to expand their design team to facilitate future success and growth.


In this role, the successful candidate will be involved in devising chip architecture and chip floor plan, supporting layout designers, verifying through comprehensive circuit simulations and designing for testability and manufacturability. The aim is for this person to progress to Staff level and lead design projects.


The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out full custom analogue IC Design on CMOS or biCMOS processes using Cadence tools. Candidates must have a Bachelors degree or higher in Electronics or related to Electronics (i.e. Power Electronics).

The Role:
*Designing electronic components for HV power conversion systems
*Devise chip architecture and chip floor plan
*Support layout designers
*Verify through comprehensive circuit simulations and design for testability and manufacturability.
*Progression route to Staff level to lead design projects
*Office based role


The Person:
*Bachelors degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or relevant (Power Electronics, Electrical and Electronics etc)
*Excellent knowledge and understanding of theory and best-practice of analog IC design
*Strong experience carrying out full custom analogue IC Design on CMOS or biCMOS processes using Cadence tools
*Commutable to Cambridge
