Senior Backend Engineer
Berlin/Remote +/- 3 hours of CET
€70,000 to €90,000 + Benefits
Excellent opportunity to join a start-up with recent funding changing the way in which financial security is addressed by individuals and companies.
This company focuses on using cutting-edge technologies to ensure secure identity verification during financial transactions and exchange of data working in the FinTech and Web3 spaces.
In this role you will take ownership of backend features improving and adding to these wherever possible. You will also drive and contribute to technical and architectural discussions as part of a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced using and Ruby/ROR on the backend. You will also have good knowledge of architecture and be a strong voice in technical discussions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have a role which can genuinely make a real impact on the future of security by building the infrastructure needed for transactions.
The Role:
*Build backend features improving and adding to these.
*Contribute to the codebase with your ideas on architecture.
*Fully remote from anywhere within 3 hours of CET or from Berlin based office
The Person:
*Experience developing frontend application using Ruby on the backend (Ruby on Rails)
*Experience contributing to technical discussions as part of a collaborative team.
*Fluent English speaker, German is a plus.
