Home based (nationwide travel required)


£45,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Car Allowance + Progression + Holidays + Pension


Are you an energy / sustainability consultant or manager? Do you have experience carrying out energy surveys and audits for commercial, industrial or public sector buildings?


On offer is the chance to join a leading energy efficiency specialist in an autonomous role where you can play a pivotal part in the growth and success of the business.


This rapidly expanding consultancy are leading the way in the energy efficiency market as they strive towards net zero carbon targets. They provide a bespoke service to suit the customers needs, including advice on how to improve energy efficiency, renewable projects and arranging energy renewals.


In this role, the Senior Energy Consultant will be responsible for taking the lead on programme delivery for carbon reduction measures on industrial, commercial and public sector buildings. This will include carrying out surveys, devising carbon management plans, providing QA support to the team and contributing to department processes and strategies. This is a home based role where you are required to travel to sites nationwide, and to the office once a month.


The ideal candidate will be a Senior Energy Consultant or Manager with around 10+ years experience in carbon reduction. Candidates must have excellent knowledge of energy compliance schemes and experience of writing technical audit reports.

The Role:
*Take the lead on programme delivery and main point of contact for clients
*Carry out surveys on industrial, commercial and public sector buildings
*Conduct heat loss calculations and after fabric improvement measures
*Advise on solutions for carbon reduction and energy efficiency
*Write technical energy audits reports
*Quality assurance support to the team
*Contribute to processes and strategy of the department
*Home based role, travel to sites natation wide


The Person:
*Time served Energy / Sustainability Consultant or Energy Manager
*Ability to take the lead on projects and support colleagues
*Must have experience of consulting and writing audit reports
*Excellent knowledge of energy compliance schemes (ESOS)
*IT literate
*Passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy
*Full UK Driving License
