This company identify, develop and deliver utility scale solar and energy storage systems across the UK and the world, their portfolio includes some of the largest solar farms in the UK. Following an incredibly successful past few years and the increased demand for renewable energy they are currently in an exciting growth period and as such they are now looking for a new Senior Engineering Manager to join the team in a newly created position that can offer candidates autonomy and the opportunity to help shape the companies growth.
In this role you will play a key role in the design and procurement of all of the companies incoming projects. Day to day responsibilities would include the coordination and management of the design process and the completion of technical evaluations to ensure feasibility of ground mount solar farms.
The ideal candidate will be a design expert for renewable energy projects and have previous experience in line management. You will also need to be able to manage multiple relationships and see multiple projects at one time whilst maintaining a professional and commercially astute leadership style.
The Role:
*Senior Engineering Manager (Renewables)
*Overseeing design and technical evaluations for utility scale solar projects
*Supporting tender documentation
*Providing technical engineering advice to all other departments in the business

The Person:
*BSc in Engineering Discipline, ideally electrical based
*Previous experience working with renewable energy projects
*Experience in the design of Solar PV Farms
*Good technical understanding of construction, H&S and grid standards for the UK and Europe
*Based in London, happy to work 3-4 days in office
