Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Based near Ivybridge (Commutable from Plymouth and Exeter)
(Hybrid Working - Office/Home/Sites)
£45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus Scheme + Progression Opportunities + 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Excellent role on offer for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer looking to work for an award-winning consultancy firm working on projects across the South West on a varied portfolio of projects, with extensive progression opportunities up to Directorship.

This company undertake projects mainly across the South West region. These projects including Structures, Civil Infrastructure, Geotechnical and Site Investigations, Transportation, Environmental and Drainage. They work with a breadth of public and private sector clients ranging from local councils to large private contractors. Having grown considerably over the past few years, and with an impressive order book, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team.
This role will be supporting and overseeing the delivery of geotechnical design schemes. The responsibilities of the role will include; design and detailing schemes such as temporary works, foundations, sheet piles, soil nails, rock anchors and excavation support systems; ground investigation analysis; preparing and overseeing the production of technical reports; supporting the creation of tender documents and fee estimates; supporting the civil and structural departments to deliver cross departmental projects; attending sites where required and liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout a projects lifecycle.
This role would therefore suit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience working on design projects. You will posess a relevant Bachelor degree or higher. The successful candidate will have the desire to progress their career and works towards achieving chartership. You will also have experience working throughout a projects lifecycle, managing both internal and external clients in line with project constraints.
