Senior Quantity Surveyor
Cardiff Based (Hybrid Working)
£45,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance + Support on RICS + Personal Development + Progression Opportunities
Excellent role on offer for a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to work for a highly-respected Project and Cost Management consultancy, offering extensive progression opportunities up to Associate.

This company are a consultancy firm operating within a diverse range of sectors including Water, Utilities, Rail, Infrastructure, Commercial and Residential. They provide an array of project and cost management services to public and private sector clients. Having grown throughout the pandemic and with an impressive order book, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
In this role you will be carrying out commercial activities to maximize project profitability. Your responsibilities will include; contribute towards bid and tender preparation and business development, assume day to day delivery responsibility for projects of work and demonstrate the ability to carry out tasks without supervision, monitor project fees and ensure resource and time inputs are in line with budget constraints, ensure effective management of change control processes, preparation of budget estimates, cost plans and client reports, evaluation of tenders, contractor selection and contract documentation, provide risk and value management, support contract administration including preparation of valuations, forecasts, cost reports and attending project meetings, bill of quantities and schedule rates and other methods of work evaluation.
This role would therefore ideally suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong experience working on a variety of experience and strong understanding of NEC contracts. You will have relevant projects experience working within either the Utilities, Water, Rail or Civil Infrastructure related works. The successful candidate will have the desire to pursue professional qualifications and progress into Director level roles in the future.
