Senior/ Principal Energy Engineer

£40,000-60,000 DOE + Life Assurance + EV car scheme
Are you a experienced Energy Engineer with a passion for sustainability, innovation, and driving positive change?
This corporation comprises a collective of dedicated and approachable planners, designers, environmental consultants, engineers, and health & safety experts.
In this role as a valued member of the Engineering Group, you will contribute across the spectrum of energy engineering consultancy projects spanning diverse sectors. Your role encompasses the responsibility of delivering impeccable technical project outcomes within established timelines and budget constraints. Depending on your experience level and enthusiasm, opportunities may arise for mentoring junior colleagues, fostering business growth, and overseeing project management. Certain assignments entail travel, facilitated by our company pool cars, necessitating a full UK valid driving license. Additionally, occasional air travel may be required, requiring a valid passport. Infrequent multi-day site visits may necessitate overnight stays, further enriching your hands-on experience.

The role:
*Lead the design and implementation of advanced energy systems, optimising efficiency and minimising environmental impact.
*Develop innovative strategies for energy conservation, renewable integration, and emissions reduction.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert insights on energy-related projects.
*Conduct comprehensive energy audits and assessments, identifying opportunities for improvement.
*Stay up to date of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
The Person:
* Full UK driving license & Valid Passport
*Happy to travel Nationwide with overnight stay & overseas when necessary
*Honours Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering. Other engineering disciples (e.g. Chemical, Process, Civil and Environmental) will also be considered.
