Senior Support Engineer (Remote)

Wigan - Office, Hybrid, or Remote Working available

£30,000-£40,000 + Excellent Training Opportunities + Progression + Benefits

Excellent opportunity to join an exciting and people-centric business, who are looking to bring on board an experienced Support Engineer due to their continued growth.

The company are a global Telecommunications provider of Bespoke Telephony and Data Solutions for their major clients within the hospitality sector. With offices just outside of Manchester and the USA, they successfully provide a range of cutting-edge PBX, Cloud Telephony (VOIP) and Wi-fi solutions to clients in 24 different countries.

Within this role, you will be responsible for 1st and 2nd line support to colleagues and customers. Work from a technical cases queue ensuring the cases are being picked up, responded to, and progressed in a timely manner. You will also have the opportunity for some travel to customer sites across the UK & Europe when required. You will be highly autonomous in your role but given the support and training to excel in the role. The company is open to candidates based local to Wigan and remote applicants.

The ideal candidate must have experience with Mitel products and solutions, ideally with some certifications. You will be self-motivated, have a thirst for learning, and be able to provide high levels of customer service.

The Role:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to colleagues and customers.
  • Support younger and junior colleagues
  • Work from a technical cases queue ensuring the cases are being picked up, responded to, and progressed in a timely manner
  • Participate in the out of hours on call rota


The Person:

  • Be experienced in deploying and supporting Mitel MiVB/ MCD
  • Possess current Mitel Certifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
