Service Engineer (Electrical)
£35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime (up to 2x) + Progression + No Callouts + Company Vehicle + Paid Expenses + Excellent Benefits
Huddersfield (Commutable from: Leeds, Bradford, Rochdale, Halifax, and Barnsley)

Are you a Service Engineer, from an Electrical background, with experience working on CNC machinery, looking to join a well-established business, offering ongoing support and further career progression?

On offer is a highly varied role, where you will be working on a range of projects for both small and blue chip clients both locally and further afield, with plenty of overtime opportunities to boost your earnings.

This company specialise on servicing, spares and repairs of CNC machinery. They are part of a much larger company and are known for their high quality service and machinery.

You will be working in both the workshop and at a variety of customer premises across the UK; servicing, maintaining and diagnosing electrical and PLC software.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on CNC machinery and have an understanding of PLC diagnosis, looking for a long term career with lots of overtime.

The Role:

  • Electrical fault finding, servicing and maintenance on machinery
  • PLC troubleshooting and repair
  • Workshop (25%) and Site based (75%)
  • Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work


The Person:

  • Electrical background
  • Experience working on CNC machinery
  • Understanding of PLC control systems (Siemens / Fanuc)
  • Living within a commutable distance to Huddersfield
  • Full UK driving licence
