SHEQ Coordinator / Officer

€55,000 - €65,000 + benefits
We're working with a leading environmental and waste services business that is continuing to grow across Europe. They are looking to bring in a SHEQ Coordinator / Officer to support multiple operational sites and drive a strong safety and compliance culture across the region.
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll be highly visible, working closely with operational teams to improve standards across Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
The Role
You'll play a key role in embedding SHEQ best practices across sites, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
From daily site walks to incident investigations, you'll be responsible for ensuring risks are identified, managed, and reduced, while promoting a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections, audits, and safety walks
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Drive SHEQ KPIs and performance improvements
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
- Work closely with site managers and operational teams
- Support regulatory inspections and external audits
- Maintain SHEQ documentation and reporting
About You
- 2+ years' experience in a SHEQ / HSEQ / EHS role
- NEBOSH, MVK or equivalent (or working towards)
- Strong understanding of ISO standards and auditing
- Experience in multi-site or operational environments (waste, utilities, industrial preferred)
- Confident communicator with a hands-on approach
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable challenging standards
