Sourcing & Buying Specialist (Manufacturing)
Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 + 7.5% Target Bonus + 401(k) + Medical, Dental & Vision + PTO + Paid Holidays
Location: Temple, TX (Commutable from Waco, Killeen, Austin, Belton, Georgetown)

This company is a leading manufacturer known for their excellent products and reputation. Due to expanding they are now in need of a sourcing specialist.
This role would suit a strategic sourcing professional and wants to own cost outcomes, apply should-cost discipline, and be recognised as the subject-matter expert in procurement.
The Role:
- Own sourcing strategy and material cost reduction across a global supply base, including Asia and India
- Develop and apply should-cost models for machined components, castings, rods, tubes, and fabrications
- Lead RFQ processes, supplier selection, and dual-sourcing initiatives to reduce risk and cost
- Partner with engineering on VA/VE to reduce component cost without compromising quality
The Candidate
- buying/sourcing in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment with hands-on knowledge of machining, fabrication, castings, or forgings ideally
- Proven ability to develop should-cost models and deliver measurable year-on-year cost reductions
- ERP/MRP experience - Oracle E-Business Suite preferred
