Using Hawarden and John Lennon airports as starting points the candidate would travel to different locations across the UK on a day-to-day basis. This represents an exciting opportunity to work with a client looking to reinforced its position domestically and abroad. The position would be of interest to those open to travel, as well as those interested in the possibility of international work as it becomes available in the future.

In this role the survey specialist will assist in carrying out onshore / offshore mapping projects and digital wildlife surveys. The role would see the specialist work as part of a 2 man team, flying to a variety of exciting projects across the UK. Progression will see a candidate move towards a coordinator level-position, focused on the co-ordination of operations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in carry out surveys or mapping using GIS, LiDAR or other sensor equipment. This role would be a great fit for an individual who can think on their feet, employing their technical knowledge to address any problems that may arise on the ground or in the air.

The role:

  • Onshore / offshore mapping projects and digital wildlife surveys
  • Working as part of a team with the pilot
  • Ensuring reliable capture of data and transfer


The person:

  • Relevant experience carrying out surveys / mapping using GIS, LiDAR or sensor equipment etc
  • Flexible and can think on their feet
  • Commutable to Hawarden / John Lennon airports
  • Comfortable flying on a daily basis
