The Role

As a System Engineer you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge portable power systems that are changing the way energy is generated and utilized.   • Design, develop, and optimize power systems, combining state-of-the-art battery technology, advanced power electronics, and intelligent control algorithms.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Research and Development, Product Management, and Manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of our energy solutions.
  • Conduct system-level testing, performance analysis, and optimization to meet stringent customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to evaluate and select components, explore new technologies, and drive system enhancements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and external customers, addressing system-level inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to drive innovation and ensure compliance.

The Person

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a System Engineer, ideally in the field of complex mechatronic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of battery systems, power electronics, and system integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues, propose creative solutions, and drive them to successful implementation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
