Trainee CAD Technician

This company are a reputable firm within the UK specialising in interior design within the construction sector. They have earnt themselves a notable reputation for their high quality work among their clientele. Looking to expand the business with a number of exciting projects on the horizon, our client pride themselves on encouraging an enthusiastic environment whilst delivering a high level of service to their clients. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an ambitious and hard working individual to join the team.
In this role you will be based in their London office playing a crucial part in a number of exciting high end residential projects which will range in size. Working closely with the team, you will use specialist computer software to design solutions, work within budgets and project programme times, produce drawings for approval, perform site surveys and take ownership of drawing processes from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and interest in construction processes. You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively across the company.

The Role:
- Trainee CAD Technician
-Follow design processes updating project files
-Accurate and detailed drawings
-Comparing tender drawings against later revisions, keeping an eye out for changes
Requirements:
-Interest in design aesthetics
-Experience using AUTOCAD
-Strong IT skills, Microsoft Excel
-Interior Design/Construction/Architecture background
