£24,000 - £28,000 + 38 Hour Week + No Overtime Required + Guaranteed Job Security

This market leading company are specialists within their field, supplying custom and stock optics to a wide variety of industries from defence and aerospace to the medical market. They are in high demand for their services due to their excellent reputation, they are now looking to recruit a like-minded individual to join their team.

This is a workshop based role, working with a small close-knit team where you will be tasked with basic programming, grinding and polishing to ensure a high standard in production is met. If you are from a different industry, full extensive training will be provided in order to give you all the tools to be successful within this role.

No previous experience is required, the successful candidate will be someone who is keen to move into the engineering sector and happy to work with their hands. They will also need to be commutable to Cambridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to further develop their skills and work in a varied, technically challenging role.

The Role:

  • Production of custom and stock optics
  • Monday - Thursday (8:00am - 17:00pm) Friday (8:00am - 14:00pm)
  • Full training provided on all equipment
  • £24,000 - £28,000 + 38 Hour Week + No Overtime Required + Guaranteed Job Security
