PE Structural Design Engineer (Steel Pole Structures)

In this high-impact position, you will take ownership of structural design projects from concept through to final delivery. Working closely with customers, fabrication teams, and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and testing of complex steel pole structures, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical and quality standards.
This role would suit a PE Licensed Structural Engineer from a civil, utility, transportation, or structural steel background, with experience designing pole structures, looking to enjoy the flexibility of a remote role whilst taking ownership of complex engineering projects and helping drive the continued growth of a specialist design division.
The Role:
- Design and structural analysis of steel utility and transportation pole structures.
- Creation and implementation of engineering drawings and design packages using AutoCAD.
- Structural modelling, calculations, testing, and product development using PLS Pole/Pole Foreman/Quick Pole.
The Candidate:
- Experience designing steel pole or tower structures.
- Proficiency in PLS Pole/Pole Foreman/Quick Pole, and AutoCAD.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
