Are you an Industrial Engineer with experience in automated manufacturing looking for a role where you can take ownership of improvement projects and have a direct impact on site performance?

This is an excellent opportunity to lead projects across automation, productivity and process improvement, while also supporting the financial business cases behind new equipment and operational improvements.

The company is a globally successful organization, continuing to invest heavily in its operations. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for an ambitious engineer to join their expanding team.

In this role, you will identify ways to improve production performance, investigate bottlenecks and root causes, and develop more efficient processes and workflows. You will also work alongside the Operations Director to understand the financial impact of proposed improvements, including CAPEX, ROI, cash flow and payback.

This would suit an Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Operations Engineer from a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment who has some exposure to the commercial side of engineering projects and is looking for greater responsibility and long-term progression.

The Role

• Lead manufacturing, automation and operational improvement projects.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve production efficiency, throughput and equipment utilization.
• Support business cases for new equipment and automation, including CAPEX, ROI, cost savings and payback.
• Take improvement projects from initial analysis and financial justification through to implementation.

The Candidate

• Experience within manufacturing, production, industrial or operations engineering.
• Experience in an automated or highly mechanized manufacturing environment with Lean / Continuous Improvement experience.
• Exposure to building or supporting business cases, ROI analysis or CAPEX justification.
• Basic understanding of cash flow, payback and the financial impact of manufacturing improvements.
