Are you a Journeyman Electrician with solar experience looking for a permanent role where you will be mentored, recognised for your expertise, and backed by a close-knit team as the business continues to grow?

This is a permanent position with a small, family-owned solar company that has seen an increase in workload and is adding to the team as a result of growth. You will be properly supported in the role, with mentoring provided to help you succeed in the field.

In this position you will work on regional commercial solar projects, with exposure to commercial solar electrical systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will interpret single-line drawings, electrical schematics, spec sheets and installation manuals, ensuring high-quality installations and safe working practices.

The role will involve travel to regional job sites across Upstate NY, NH, CT and MA, including overnight stays as required.

This role would suit a licensed Journeyman Electrician with commercial solar and/or BESS experience, looking for a secure, long-term position in a growing business with hands-on support and varied project work.

The Role:

• Commercial solar and BESS electrical installation work across regional job sites
• Reading and interpreting single-line drawings, schematics, spec sheets and installation manuals
• Permanent position, typical hours 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime available
• Regional travel (Upstate NY, NH, CT, MA) including overnight stays as required

The Person:

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician (or 8-10+ years' electrical trade experience)
• 3+ years' solar industry experience; commercial solar electrical systems and/or BESS experience
• OSHA 10 (must be completed before hire) and NFPA 70E
