Are you mechanically minded and comfortable using hand and power tools? This role offers full training from day one, giving you the skills to build a career in specialist engineering, with opportunities for overtime and progression.

You'll join an established engineering and manufacturing environment where you'll learn how to assemble, test and work on specialist electromechanical equipment. You don't need previous assembly experience, as you'll be trained on the company's products, processes, drawings and equipment.

With on-the-job training, specific technical training and support from experienced engineers, you'll progressively build your skills and take on more responsibility. The role also offers a local patch, door-to-door pay and opportunities to progress as your experience develops.

You will be responsible for learning to assemble and test electromechanical equipment, using a range of mechanical tools and precision measuring equipment while developing your ability to work from technical drawings and schematics.

This role would suit someone with mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools, such as impact drills, wrenches, sockets or similar, who wants to be fully trained into a specialist engineering role.

The Role:

• Assemble and test electromechanical equipment
• Learn to read and work from technical drawings and schematics
• Use hand, power and precision measuring tools
• Develop specialist mechanical and electrical assembly skills

The Candidate:

• Experience using mechanical hand and power tools
• Comfortable using tools such as impact drills, wrenches and sockets
• Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• No previous assembly experience required
