Are you a CNC Programmer, Senior Machinist or Manufacturing Engineer who knows how to turn an engineering drawing into a practical manufacturing process?

Would you like to take ownership of a brand-new role where you'll determine how complex aerospace components are manufactured, with the opportunity to become the technical expert in your area?

On offer is a permanent position with an established manufacturer, where you will have direct influence over manufacturing routes and shop floor execution, with on-the-job training and job shadowing from an experienced manufacturing leader.

This company has a strong reputation for taking on difficult, regulated manufacturing challenges for large OEM customers, with a modern shop floor and a growing operation. Due to continued growth, facility expansion and increased demand, they are now creating this brand-new role to strengthen their manufacturing planning capability.

This is a fantastic opportunity that would suit someone from a machining, CNC programming or manufacturing engineering background who wants technical ownership, development and the chance to influence how complex aerospace work is planned and executed.

The Role:

• Review engineering drawings and determine the manufacturing route
• Develop step-by-step work instructions across machining and other processes
• Select the appropriate machines, processes and sequence for production
• Work closely with machinists and programmers to ensure routes are practical and efficient
• Mon-Fri 1st shift, with flexible start times

The Person:

• Experience within a machine shop, manufacturing or aerospace environment
• Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC equipment
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and translate prints into manufacturing routes
• Background could include Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Senior Machinist, Senior CNC Programmer or similar
