Join a growing, family-owned manufacturer with a true in-house Tool Room and Engineering team. You'll be part of a skilled group building, modifying and troubleshooting the machinery and tooling that keeps the wider operation moving, in a predominantly manual shop environment.

This is a genuine job shop setting, giving you the chance to work on varied, technically challenging projects rather than repetitive high-volume production. You'll work on everything from precision components and prototypes to larger equipment builds, a variety of complez projects, often taking ownership of your part of the build from start to finish.

The company is standardizing training and building a stronger Tool Room for the long term. You'll work alongside a highly experienced Maintenance Engineering Supervisor, with the opportunity to take on greater technical responsibility and support less experienced machinists. With the current supervisor approaching retirement in the coming years, there is a genuine opportunity to establish yourself as a key technical figure and progress toward working-lead (Area Leader) and longer-term supervisory responsibility.

You'll also be joining a genuinely employee-focused, family-owned business where people are treated as individuals rather than numbers. The Role:

• Take ownership of Tool & Die machining, fitting and troubleshooting within a manual job shop environment
• Build, modify and repair production machinery, tooling and prototypes to tight tolerances (around 0.001")
• Work alongside Engineering on varied projects, from individual components to larger equipment builds
• Support and develop junior machinists while building toward future technical and working-lead responsibility
• Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm, on-site | OT paid 1.5x over 40 hours

The Person:

• Experienced Tool & Die Machinist / Toolmaker with strong manual machining experience
• Comfortable producing precision components to tight tolerances (around 0.001")
• Strong problem-solving ability with the mindset to take ownership and lead by example
