Are you a Senior Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer looking to step into a leadership role for a well-established engineering consultancy, where you will play a key role in shaping and managing a growing department?

On offer is a technically interesting position where you will act as the senior technical authority across Electrical and I&C, supporting a small but highly collaborative team, while contributing to a wide range of complex industrial projects.

This well-established engineering consultancy has been operating for around two decades and delivers tailored engineering solutions across mining and heavy industrial markets. Due to continued project demand and upcoming large-scale work, they are now looking to bring in a Manager for their Electrical, Instrumentation & Control department to support growth and provide technical leadership.

In this role you will be acting as a senior "soundboard" across the business, supporting discipline leads and engineers with technical guidance, whilst overseeing projects across greenfield and brownfield environments including mineral processing, oil & gas and pulp & paper. You will not be required to be fully hands-on day to day, but will have the opportunity to contribute technically where required.

This role will therefore suit a senior Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer with a strong industrial background, who is comfortable leading from a technical standpoint and enjoys working in a collaborative, close-knit team environment.

The Person:

• Senior Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer
• Background in heavy industrial environments (mining, oil & gas, processing)
• Strong technical knowledge across control systems (e.g. Allen Bradley, ABB, GE)
• Comfortable leading, mentoring and acting as a senior technical authority
• Looking for a long-term role with progression opportunities
