Are you from a manufacturing, production, customer service or operations background and looking to move into production planning with full training and a clear route to progress?

This is a permanent, Monday-Friday role with a structured 1-3 month training period where you will be properly supported by an experienced planning team, learning how to manage schedules, inventory and changing customer requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be joining a well-established global manufacturer with highly automated production lines, strong employee tenure and a reputation for rewarding people who step up and get results, with future progression into higher-level planning roles as the department continues to develop.

In this role you will attend daily production meetings, update and refresh schedules throughout the day, monitor stock levels and inputs on SAP, and work closely with production supervisors and inside sales to keep deliveries on track, even when priorities change.

The Role:

• Update and manage production schedules multiple times per day based on orders, inventory and output
• Monitor and maintain planning inputs in SAP and ensure inventory accuracy
• Work closely with production supervisors and inside sales/customer service to meet demand
• Support capacity planning and communicate schedule changes / line stoppages to the wider team
• Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

The Person:

• Experience in manufacturing, production, customer service, operations, logistics or a similar fast-paced environment
• Confident with Excel and data; SAP experience is a bonus
• Adaptable, self-sufficient and comfortable making last-minute changes when priorities shift
