Are you a PLC Maintenance Specialist, Controls Technician, or Automation Technician with Siemens Step 7 or TIA Portal experience, looking to earn exceptionally well while becoming the go-to controls expert in a high-volume manufacturing site with real technical development and progression?

On offer is a permanent role with a well-established global manufacturer where overtime is paid at time and a half and realistic total earnings can exceed $160,000+ on a 6 day schedule. Alongside the earning potential, you will be supported to develop into deeper programming and improvement work as you grow.

This is a large, modern operation with major expansion planned next year. They are known for promoting from within and investing in the people who keep production running, with a climate-controlled facility in most areas.

In this role you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and associated control systems using Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal. You will support countermeasures from downtime data, provide 2nd-level technical support, and work closely with maintenance and engineering teams.

This role would suit a Siemens PLC troubleshooting specialist who is money-motivated and wants technical ownership, development into programming-level work, and long-term progression in a growing site.

The Role:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and control systems (Step 7, TIA Portal)
• Provide 2nd-level technical support and drive countermeasures from downtime data
• Support weekend and shutdown PM schedules as required
• 12-hour shifts with rotating day/night or permanent nights based on production plan

The Person:

• Strong PLC troubleshooting experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Siemens Step 7 and/or TIA Portal experience
• Comfortable with schematics/blueprints, and safe working practices including LOTO
