Are you a hands-on Aerospace Quality professional ready to take the next step into Quality Management and take real ownership of a department?

Do you want the autonomy to lead a team, stay close to the shop floor and make decisions on complex, tight-tolerance components rather than managing Quality from a distance?

This is an opportunity to join a well-established precision manufacturer with 40+ years of experience, supporting Aerospace and Medical customers from engineering and design through to production and reverse engineering. The work is varied, covering complex CNC machining, castings and other high-spec components where technical Quality knowledge matters.

With major audits approaching, including AS9100 and NADCAP for welding, you'll have a clear opportunity to make an immediate impact - leading audit readiness, driving improvements and taking the Quality function into its next phase.

The business is open to candidates who are already established Quality Managers, as well as technically strong Quality Supervisors, Leads or Senior Quality professionals ready to step into their first management role. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Lead a close-knit Quality team and take full ownership of the department

• Oversee Inspection, CMM and Calibration across a busy precision machine shop

• Solve technical Quality challenges across complex, tight-tolerance Aerospace components

• Lead audit readiness and drive improvements across the Quality function

The Person:

• Proven Quality experience within Aerospace precision machining, with leadership experience or the ability to step into management

• Strong AS9100 QMS ownership and audit experience

• Hands-on CMM experience, with programming experience beneficial

• Technically confident with blueprints, GD&T and tight-tolerance manufacturing
