Are you an Engineering Manager or Manufacturing Engineering Manager ready to take real ownership of a growing engineering function, with a clear route to senior leadership? Do you want a role where you're visible on the shop floor, driving improvement and developing engineers in a precision CNC machining environment?

On offer is an on-site leadership role where you'll take full ownership of an engineering function, leading from the front as the business expands and reshapes its operations under new leadership.

You'll join an established precision CNC manufacturer producing complex components for regulated markets, bringing in an Engineering Manager to help elevate standards, strengthen processes, and support the next stage of growth.

Day to day you'll manage and develop a team of manufacturing/process engineers, spending around 60% of your time on the shop floor alongside supervisors and operators, and 40% in the office driving CI, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving systems and processes.

This role would suit an experienced CNC manufacturing leader looking to step into a key, business-critical position with genuine long-term progression and the opportunity to shape how the department runs day-to-day.

The Role:

• Lead and develop an engineering team
• Drive manufacturing process improvements and support continuous improvement activity
• Hands-on floor presence (approx. 60% floor / 40% office) supporting supervisors and operators
  

The Person:

• Strong CNC machining / precision manufacturing background (turning, milling, Swiss machining, automation)
• Proven leadership/management experience (or clear step-up with leadership responsibility)
