Are you a Graduate Engineer, Junior Electrical Engineer, or Associate Electrical Engineer looking to build a specialist career in industrial automation with substantial training and support from experienced engineers?

On offer is a permanent position with a well-established warehouse automation and material handling systems business, where you will develop practical electrical design skills across real conveyor and automation projects from day one.

This company designs, manufactures, installs, and supports automation solutions for clients across North America. Due to continued growth and an increase in electrical engineering work, they are looking to add to their engineering team.

In this role you will support the design and implementation of electrical systems for automation machinery, creating and updating schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, I/O lists, and Bills of Materials, as well as assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

This role would suit a graduate or early-career engineer looking to deepen their electrical design capability, get hands-on project exposure, and progress technically in industrial automation.

The Role:

• Assist with electrical design for industrial automation and material handling equipment
• Create/update schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and I/O lists (AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical)
• Generate Bills of Materials and support drawing package creation
• Support testing, troubleshooting, data collection, and technical documentation

The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related discipline)
• Early career exposure to electrical wiring and AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical (projects, internships, or 1-2 years experience)
• Interested in industrial automation, conveyors, control panels, and electrical design
