Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for a hands-on role where you can work across a wide range of industrial machinery, solve problems, and drive improvements?

This is an opportunity to join a small, well-rounded engineering team with minimal red tape and plenty of autonomy. You'll have the freedom to troubleshoot, improve, and modernize equipment while working closely with an experienced team.

The company is well-established and currently undergoing a major machinery rebuild and modernization, focused on improving efficiency and developing its manufacturing lines. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, learn from experienced engineers, and make a direct impact on the facility.

You'll work across mechanical, electrical, and controls-driven equipment, collaborate with outside vendors on major rebuilds and upgrades, and help modernize existing machinery and automation.

This role is ideal for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who values autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to take ownership of their work.


The Role:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve industrial manufacturing machinery
• Lead machinery rebuilds, installations, upgrades, and commissioning
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and drive reliability improvements
• Work with vendors and outside companies on major equipment projects
• Design and modify machine components and assemblies
• Support preventative maintenance and equipment reliability

The Person:

• Hands-on experience with industrial machinery, equipment maintenance, machinery reliability, or machine design
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Knowledge of bearings, shafting, power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical assemblies
• Experience with 3D CAD such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
