On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established specialist manufacturer, taking full responsibility for day-to-day manufacturing operations and playing a key part in launching a brand-new 2nd shift with clear overlap and handover between shifts.

This company is a long-standing manufacturer of electronic equipment, known for quality and operating to AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are now looking to bring in an Operations Manager to support the next phase of expansion.

In this role you will lead production, work closely with senior leadership and Quality, and drive improvements to throughput and lead times while building the structure needed for a successful 2nd shift.

This role would suit an Operations Manager from electronics manufacturing looking for genuine ownership, a key leadership position, and the chance to make a visible impact in a growing business.

The Role:

• Lead and improve day-to-day manufacturing operations
• Work closely with senior leadership and Quality in an AS9100 / ISO 9001 environment
• Drive improvements to production lead times, throughput, and operational performance
• Play a key role in planning and launching a new 2nd shift with effective shift overlap
• Full-time permanent role, on-site, with a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off)

The Person:

• Operations / Manufacturing Management experience within a manufacturing environment
• Background in electronics manufacturing (or similarly technical manufacturing)
• Comfortable in a hands-on, on-site leadership role with real ownership
