Are you a PhD-level thermal engineer looking to take ownership of liquid-cooling R&D for AI/HPC data centers - working directly with a Co-Founder as the US operation scales?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global thermal-management business in a true "build phase" for the USA team, where you'll have visible impact, fast decision-making, and a clear runway into senior technical leadership as growth accelerates.

The company designs the cooling infrastructure that sits between high-power compute hardware and the facility heat-rejection system - covering direct-to-chip liquid cooling, CDUs, cold plates, manifolds, quick-disconnects, and precision air cooling for AI data centers.

In this role you'll lead simulation-to-test validation for advanced liquid cooling hardware - turning requirements into models, test plans, and proven performance for next-generation AI/HPC systems.

The Role:
- Own thermal/fluid performance for liquid cooling components and systems (cold plates, CDUs, manifolds, pumps, HX, piping).
- Build and run CFD/thermal models, then validate them with hands-on lab testing and data correlation.
- Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues (FA/RCA) and support design reviews and risk work (FMEA) through development.
-Partner closely with cross-functional teams plus customers/suppliers to deliver validated designs.

The Person:
- PhD in Thermal/Mechanical/Fluids Engineering (or closely related) + 1+ year of work experience post-PhD
- Strong fundamentals in heat transfer/thermodynamics
- Practical experience across liquid cooling, CFD, and experimental thermal validation (two-phase/electronics cooling a plus).
- Preferred: Can speak Mandarin
