Are you an Assistant Project Manager with a background in low voltage or structured cabling, looking to take the next step into a Project Manager position where you can take full ownership of projects and build a long-term career with a growing electrical contractor?

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to step into a full Project Manager position, taking ownership of major low voltage projects while receiving the support, training, and exposure needed to continue developing into increasingly senior positions.

The company is a well-established electrical contractor with a strong presence across the Dallas area. They deliver complex commercial projects including major data centers, hospitals, stadiums, and other large-scale developments, providing an excellent platform for someone looking to develop their project management career.

With multiple consecutive projects already secured, the business is continuing to grow and offers genuine long-term opportunities for ambitious professionals. You will work alongside experienced leadership while progressively taking on greater responsibility across project delivery, financial management, customer relationships, and team coordination.

This role would suit an experienced Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Junior Project Manager with a strong low voltage and structured cabling background who is ready to make the step into full Project Management and build towards senior leadership.

The Role:

• Step into full Project Management responsibility across major low voltage construction projects
• Take ownership of project budgets, forecasting, billing, scheduling, procurement, and resource planning
• Coordinate field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and internal teams throughout project delivery
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

The Person:

• Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Junior Project Manager with commercial construction experience
• Relevant experience within low voltage or structured cabling, including copper, fiber, OSP, ISP, pathways, wireless, and telecommunications rooms
• Experience working on complex commercial projects such as data centers, hospitals, stadiums, or similar
• Ambitious professional looking to take the next step and build a long-term career in Project Management
