Are you an Engineering or Operations Manager with controls engineering experience looking for a true hands-on leadership role where you can take ownership of project delivery and help grow a small operation?

You'll take responsibility for delivery across the Texas operation, staying involved technically while leading people, schedules, and customer expectations. With a small, close-knit local team and clear growth plans to expand the office, this is a role where your impact will be visible, supporting both project success and the development of future leaders.

In this position you will oversee control panel projects from design and build through PLC programming, instrumentation, installation, startup, testing, and commissioning support, with local site visits typically within a few hours and no overnight travel expected.

This role would suit a controls engineering leader who enjoys remaining technical while taking full ownership of delivery, leading a team, and building an operation as it grows.

The Role:

• Lead project execution for a small Texas-based controls/automation operation
• Hands-on involvement in controls work, testing, startups, and technical delivery
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and customer expectations across multiple projects
• Onsite role with local client visits (generally day trips, no overnight travel expected)

The Person:

• Strong controls engineering background with experience delivering projects end-to-end
• Experience leading engineers/technicians and taking ownership of delivery
• Engineering management, operations management or similar experience ideal
