Are you an experienced commercial Electrician, Field Superintendent, or Electrical Field Engineer looking to get off the tools and move into Electrical Construction Administration, with full training to learn inspections, documentation, and CA best practice?

This is a permanent position with an established building services engineering consultancy, where you will be properly supported, given all the tools you need, and trained to become a strong Construction Administrator focused on electrical installations and quality.

In this role you will split your time between the office and site (field work averages around 50% across the year), carrying out electrical site inspections, reviewing submittals, supporting RFIs, and producing clear site observation reports and one line diagrams for existing systems. Most visits are local to Austin, with occasional travel elsewhere within 50 miles of Austin.

This role would suit someone with strong practical electrical construction knowledge and working knowledge of the NEC, looking for a long term, stable position where you can build a new skillset in construction administration and inspections.

The Role:

• Electrical construction administration / field inspection position (not a design/production role)
• Site inspections, deficiency reporting, submittal review, and RFI support
• Investigating existing electrical distribution and producing one line diagrams
• Hybrid: eligible to work from home 2 days week

The Person:

• Commercial electrical field / construction experience (contractor, superintendent, or similar)
• Ability to read construction drawings/specs and identify correct vs incorrect installations
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Looking for training and development on inspections, documentation and CA best practice
